John Hoskison has been a member of the British PGA for thirty years. He has played on the European Tour with many world class golfers and he has twice played for Europe against the USA in PGA Cup teams.

But like many people John's life is not without tragedy. One day his life came crashing down around him after making a mistake that had tragic and devastating consequences. Breaking a discipline he had maintained for 20 years, John accepted a drink after a golf match and on his drive home he hit and killed a cyclist.

Sentenced to three years in prison John wrote a book about his experiences. Acclaimed as one of the most accurate portrayals of prison, it describes his forgiveness and his struggle to escape the violence and brutality in some of Britain's toughest prisons. This is an emotional book about a journey to hell and back.
